MG assures customers of a price guarantee for the first delivery of Astor The MG Astor was launched in October at an introductory price of ₹9.78 lakh. At the time of launch, MG announced that the first batch of pre-orders will be limited to 5000 units. MG also assured that these 5000 cars will be delivered before the end of 2021. However, MG has released a video in which Gaurav Gupta, the Chief Commercial Officer of MG Motor India, assures that the customers of batch 1 will get a price guarantee in case the delivery is delayed. Deliveries could be delayed due to the ongoing shortage of semiconductor crisps, which is severely affecting the auto industry.
