Coronavirus epidemic: MG Motor India Donated 2 crore for Medical Aid


MG Motor India has promised to donate 2 crore ed to fight the worldwide chaos causing coronavirus epidemic. The company is contributing ₹ 1 crore to government hospitals, health institutions, while employees of MG India will also contribute ₹ 1 crore. The idea is to help hospitals and health institutions in Gurugram and Vadodara fight COVID-19 and to ensure the well being of underprivileged sections of society as well as medical staff and health workers. Contributions include gloves, masks, ventilators, medicines and beds etc. which depend on the special need of specific government hospitals and health institutions providing medical assistance in Gurugram and Halol (Vadodara).

MG also announced its 'Disinfect and Deliver' initiative, which will ensure car delivery and test drives at home to customers under a thorough hygiene process. In addition, employees at the dealership are taking all necessary steps to ensure that the service workshop and showroom are completely clean. All delivery and test drive vehicles are being disinfected before delivery to customers' homes. The company is also taking necessary preventive measures to create a safe environment for dealership employees to ensure their health and well-being.

MG Motor is also committed to the safety and wellbeing of employees in its dealerships and workshops. MG is providing convenience and advice to its dealers to ensure insurance cover for its 5,000 employees across the country.
