Auto Expo Excellence Awards 2020 | MG Motor India


We have made it a tradition to give the very best recognition at the Auto Expo at Team Karandbike. The Carandbike Auto Expo Excellence Award went to MGR India for the best four-wheel pavilion at the 2020 Auto Expo. Originally a British brand, MG Motor India employed a British themed pavilion, which not only had parts but was also beautifully planned. MG Motor India showcased cars that showcased its rich British heritage, starting with the gorgeous MG A and ending with one of the best concept cars at the Expo, the MG Vision. The MG Motor Pavilion was a real visual enjoyment and a unique legend in the history of Morris Garage.

The MG Motor India Pavilion had quintessential British feel, with brick walls, London-esque set design and distinctive British touches such as black benches, red colored telephone booths and an 'MG Cafe'. With the design, the fact that MG Motor divided its pavilion into eight zones that included a special EV zone was a well-planned affair.

The MG Motor Pavilion reflects the company's journey over the last 94 years and also gives you a glimpse of past, present and future. The biggest attraction is MG Vision Eye Concept. It is a smart, proactive car and the first car in the world to have a 5G smart cockpit! It is stunning, definitely futuristic with bold front end, sleek light and gorgeous silhouette! We quite like the direction that MG is taking with its future cars.

With the Vision I, MG gives you a hint in the future with its strong electric car line that includes the Marvel X, E200 and ZS EV, which we have already driven. The Marvel X Vision is the production version of the E-Concept and is a fully electric compact crossover SUV while the E200 is an electric two-seater supermini that feels perfect for quick city runout, especially in congested cities.

MG Hector and MG ZS EV led to MG success in India and with new models showcased like eMG6, Gloster, X-Power, MG 360 and MG3, all these models are likely to be success stories in India. Cement MG Motor's position as a power player in the Indian auto industry.
