MG Motor MG Marvel X SUV Unveiled in India


MG Motors has showcased 14 new cars at the ongoing 2020 Delhi Auto Expo. In this article, we bring you live photos and details about the Rowe Marvel X Pure Electric SUV. This pure electric SUV has been manufactured by the SAIC Group under the Kappa brand and is currently on sale in the Chinese market.

The MG Marvel X Pure EV comes with two electric motors, which are fitted on the front and rear axles. In the Chinese market, the EV is available in 2 variants - AWD and 2WD. While the all-wheel-drive model gets a peak power of 297bhp and torque of 665Nm, the 2WD model produces 183bhp of power and 410Nm of torque.

MG Marvel X is claimed to offer an impressive range of 500 km. It also supports fast charging option. This exciting SUV can be charged up to 80 percent in 40 minutes using a DC fast charger. It accelerates from zero to 100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 180 kmph. The SUV features an iBooster Intelligent Control System that enhances emergency braking response.

SAIC Motor Corporation claims that the MG Marvel X Pure EV features a 5-star safety standard design. It is packed with six high voltage circuit protection management strategies and IP67 batteries with anti-intrusion levels.

For safety and security, the Marvel X gets intelligent parking assist, A1 Cruise full-speed intelligent cruise, automatic emergency brake, forward collision alarm, real-life driving assistance system, and more.

The MG Marvel X Pure EV features a 'Welcome Mode' and a special luxury key with a remote control that opens all LED lights, hidden door handles, and rear rearview mirrors. Other premium features include Nappa's leather seat upholstery with German badgers.
